Since March 2019, Mr. Benck has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Benchmark Electronics (NYSE: BHE), a global provider of engineering design and manufacturing services. Mr. Benck also serves as a Director and Chair of the Human Resource and Governance Committee of UNS Energy Corporation, the non-public subsidiary of Fortis Inc. (NYSE:FTS). Prior to joining Benchmark, Mr. Benck served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Lantronix Corporation and as President and Chief Executive Officer and Director at Emulex Corporation until its acquisition by Avago (NYSE:BRCM). Earlier in his career, Mr. Benck spent 18 years at IBM Corporation where he held a variety of executive leadership roles.

Mr. Benck brings more than 35 years of broad technology industry experience growing companies and delivering shareholder returns, both as a Chief Executive Officer and as a director of multiple technology companies. His board experience also includes being a current Trustee at Rochester Institute of Technology.
